I will give direction for posing during your session. However, once I have you in the right area, you are welcome to move around and go with it. My poses are only suggestions and never required. If you ever feel uncomfortable, please inform me and I am happy to adjust.

The post processing included with your session fee is primarily manipulating light, color and basic edits that creates the Amber Renea brand and style. However, if you would like further touchups, I offer retouching at starting at $5 per image. This can include fixing a wardrobe issue, soothing out wrinkles, adjusting a neck or swapping heads from another image in the same grouping. The final images should not be altered with any additional editing or filters.

I use an online gallery service for convenient instant digital download for all my clients. No DVDs, no USB drives. Your images will be available for download for 3 months. If you need your photos re-uploaded, there will be a $25 fee. I will keep your images for no longer than a year. You are responsible for keeping your files backed up in multiple locations. I highly recommend a couple flash drives stored in a fireproof safe or the cloud.

You are welcome to print for personal use. However, if you wish to publish my work I require written permission for a commercial license. If possible, I ask that you can run credit in a byline. Thank you for your consideration.

I have never had a complaint with how many photos I include with your session. Generally, if the photo is good, I will include it. You will have a wide range of options for each “posed” set, because my favorite, might not be your favorite and I get that.
But because I tend to deliver a lot of photos, they might not all be “touched up” for any bumps, bruises or skin smoothing. (On that note, my lens is very forgiving) Desire for additional photoshop and editing will fall to my clients request. I prefer natural, real photos— and I am happy to manipulate it as much as you would like. Never hurts to ask! I do have some magical photoshop skills.
After I deliver the album, simply create a favorites list for additional edits and I will give you a quote for time to take care of your requests depending on how extensive they are. Most additional edit requests for minor fixes(skin smoothing, eye bags etc..) are reasonably around $20 for the album. Clothing fixes, double chins or slimming manipulation is in the $25-$75 per photo depending on how extensive the request.
I include 1 free face swap with every album to get that favorite traditional photo of everyone looking.

I require extended families of 10+ to book 60 minutes and add on “Extended Family Additional Time” at booking. Here is why…
After many years of working with extended families and seeing how much work goes into photographing large groups I have decided that the time frame of the session doesn’t take into consideration post processing time. Yes, we could cram it into an hour, but my editing work is tripled with extended families due to it not being a single family unit.
The cost of the session covers the nitty gritty editing which includes face swaps, clothing fixes, hair and other touchups. Many times people see the final group photo and they love it without knowing that I spent a full days work stitching 15+ photos together to create a work of art that your family will cherish forever. It is my joy to do that, however, my rates will reflect the time and skill that goes into a large group session.
In addition, by having the session 90 minutes, we wont feel rushed and we will have time to also get candids which are my heart and soul and what I believe is so important.
So what does an extended family session look like? We start with the big one. Everyone together for a group shot—I will take lots of photos and no need to worry if everyone is not looking at the same time. My goal is to get a smile from everyone and I’ll make the magic happen in photoshop. I generally will break down the groups with grandparents and grandkids, grandkids together and then the original family unit(grands and THEIR kids). Then individual portraits of all the grandkids.
From there, I treat the rest of the time like mini sessions for each individual family unit. Around 15 minutes for each family will include a family portrait, candids, a portrait of the parents and the siblings.

Who should book a private mini session grouping?
·A group of friends with families
·People who want more control over the details
If you want to have mini sessions at specific location, on a specific date and time, the best option is to book a Private Mini Session. Invite a few families to split the cost and get a discounted rate for minis when book privately. I recommend no more than 4 families at 20 minutes each with a 10 minute buffer for any hiccups or delays like a diaper blowout or baby spitting up.
